Contact us we'd love to hear from you!

Art and Linda moved to their little ranch in northeast Texas and began raising Dorper sheep. The first year, Art developed CIDP and as he got worse, he I could not walk. This left Linda to do most of the work. She was raised a city girl but caught on to the ranch life very fast. Without her contribution, the ranch wouldn't be able to keep going. Then on top of that, Art had open heart surgery so they had to find a way to (with Linda doing most of the work) keep things going. After much research they decided Lowline Angus would be much less work. At the same time, their embryo program makes it possible for small acreage owners to get right into fullblood lowlines. They purchased some champion bloodline fullblood cows. These are being bred to various top bloodline bulls including the great red lowline bull "Bluey" owned by Lazy G Lowlines, Yelm WA. He is the only Red Lowline bull in the US. They will have halfblood lowlines carrying embryos from champion bloodline fullbloods. They guarantee a live calf, you can buy a halfblood heifer then sell her when she has her fullblood calf, and have a full blood calf for less than half price. Or bring your cow back for another embryo transplant. They now have Embryos for sale also, or weaning age fullblood calves. Their transplant Vet has 30 years experience.

Lowline cattle are more like pets than cattle, and kids love these miniature cattle. The smaller size and gentle nature of these Mini cows make them a joy to work with. Lowlines are ecologically friendly because they are easier on the pastures than full size cattle. People are starting to realize that 1800 pound grass devouring cow is not the future. You can compare them to the 1950's 5000 pound 12 mile to the gallon smog spewing automobile.. They were the thing then but are obsolete. The demand for these environmentally, right size cows can only get better. A 14 month old market ready steer weighs 700 to 800 pounds and hanging weight is 76% of live weight. Lowline Angus are perfect for the small ranch with a few acres to raise these miniature cattle, producing gourmet beef for your family or for sale.

Lowline Angus Cattle are a dream come true for our family.  We are older and appreciate the Lowline's gentle disposition and smaller size of these miniature cattle. We are looking forward to producing Fulblood Lowlines from our Embryo program. We want to earn a living from our Lowline cattle and not work as much.  We believe Lowline Angus ownership is perfect for the small producer. The smaller Lowline cows are gaining popularity and Lowline sales are growing! We are excited about producing Lowline cattle and improving our pastures with organic practices. Get started with Lowlines, and never look back!

Thanks for visiting, we hope to see you back real soon,
